Intermediate course at Lexington Lake, on a new map. Going from 4 to 5 was really muddy--some of the time each foot probably weighed an extra five pounds, Somehow I totally lost focus going from 5 to 6, and spent about 20 minutes wandering. I relocated back at five and tried again. I think I had been by it before but hadn't see it. Otherwise, no navigation errors. Because of that huge mistake, I ended up traveling 5.78 km. Lots of rain. The only other problem was that I couldn't keep my shoelaces tied. I stopped twice to retie, and when I finished, both were untied again. I need to figure this out. It was really good to get back and get dry.

Lots of stuff today--swasher tube, battle ropes, swiss ball, weights, jump ropes. Got me sweating.

Afterwards, Elray and I went to the park. We were there about half an hour, but not logging, because I stood around getting cold feet a lot of the time while Elray ran free, played snow plow and snow angel. We did walk around one parking lot, and up and down the road, but it was all pretty icy.

Yes, this was quite the workout. I had to stop for about 30 seconds to get my heart rate back down, although still in the red zone. It was red and yellow all the way until about halfway through Round 8. The Ali shuffle with punching the bag always gets it going.

Different stuff. Fast feet, but no agility drills. Not as much balance as usual, but some very heavy weights. I also did four trip across the gym pulling the sled. Tomorrow may be a bit sore.

Tomorrow I hope to get back to morning workouts, but the massage this morning was wonderful.

After 9Round, I took Elray to Lion's Park, and we wandered around for 15-20 minutes. Only one track across the park before us, so Elray had a wonderful time playing snow plow and making snow angels. She got really stubborn about leaving, and I got to tow.

Finally made it into 9Round this afternoon. Their heating was messed up, and it was only 50 degrees in the gym. Made you work harder. This week's CHOW was 10 hits on the speed bag and an up down. I did 31. It felt really good to work out after missing a few days. My only other exercise was walking Elray three times around here, all with my snow boots on. The first two walks were somewhat treacherous, stepping through high snow. She loves though.
