A very busy gym this morning, and all the trainers were there, as well, so they did some extra stuff. Austen likes this song "Tip It Back", so we added a round where we did Russian the entire round, except when they sang , "Tip It Back", where we did a crunchy frog. Tough. Then we did a round of holding Iron Cross first, and then plank to fill out the three minutes. Then back to the regular workout.

After car-washing and recycling, Elray and I went to the Riverfront Trail. The wind was ripping on an otherwise nice day. I should have worn different shoes, and I could have run a little, since I had on a lighter weight jacket.

It seemed like I was working harder than this. I'm still sore from the heavy weights and rowing last night with Jared.

The good part is that I had bought two gift cards for massages for my Granddaughter and her partner for Christmas, so I got one free. I used my free one today, and had my very tight shoulders worked on. Feels great, now. I need to look into using a foam roller on my neck and shoulders.

Not too sweaty, but a good overall workout.

Despite congestion, I felt really good tonight. The brain was working, and my agility drills went well. I also lifted some heavy weights and did lots of balance stuff. A new wrinkle was the rowing machine. The gym got two about a month ago, and they are seeing how long it takes to row 1000 meters. Since I had done this before, I only did 500 tonight. That was in 2:59. I am really tired now.

The back gate was open into Mack Porter, so we walked the loop in the woods. It was 35 degrees with a wet mist, and the woods helped break the wind. Elray was not ready to quit--unlike me, she likes this weather.

Great weather today. I took Elray to Watkins Mill to see the gazillions of geese. We also saw a bald eagle about 20 feet from the dam, just sitting there on some ice. I could also see a group of white birds, larger than, and among the geese. When we finally came back around, I saw that they were swans. We went all the way around today--it helped to work off the pancakes from taking Linda to Denny's for breakfast.
