Busy gym this morning, so I started on Round 8. Round 9 was a killer core--crunchy frogs, plank jacks, and superman pulses. We also had a round that included squats and pushups on an upside-down BOSU.

Riverfront Trail to the new tennis courts and back. Lots of sniffing and standing around at first, then we got in five sprint intervals. Lots of people playing pickleball, but no one in the skate park, so we got to jump and ramp and table after the walk. Adults must like to exercise on Saturday morning, but kids, not so much.

Lots of core work today. I am have a wonderful "me" day, with a massage following my workout, and a hair cut and deep conditioning this afternoon.

Bailey was the trainer today, and I thought the workout was tough. I'm still sore from Monday. I think ibuprophen is on for tonight.

Workout with my trainer. Six trips pushing the sled across the gym with 60 lbs loaded on it. Tonight with did some easy jumping moves also.

Somewhat sore from all those squats yesterday. I talked with Heather about the gym heart rate monitor, and she said it isn't talking with anyone's computer, so she has notified corporate and they aren't as timely. So my numbers are from my Fitbit. Easier today, but no gimmee.

Mack Porter Park. Since it is mostly level, it was a good place to alternate walking and jogging, which I did. We probably managed to jog almost half the time, but I really slowed down and let Elray sniff during the walking part.

The gym computer is still not talking to my computer, so my heart rate numbers are from my Fitbit and are very likely quite a bit high, because, at my age, I would probably be dead if I had a 194 heart rate.

This was a really tough workout, however, and the screen indicated that I was working at 105% of my maximum during the CHOW. The CHOW this week was a squat with low double hooks and high double hooks. I did 112 in three minutes, then rested a bit during the 30 second break. This wasn't the only hard round today, either.
