Not as tough today, until I got to the last round. Pushup position, touching opposite hands and feet.

Orienteering 1:48:00 [2] 2.81 mi (38:26 / mi) +30m 37:12 / mi

Went to Hodge Park for course setting. They were having the Civil War recreations, and collecting $10 per car for parking, so I went around to the north and parked near the bridge. Which was perfect, because I wanted to find control locations in this area. At one point, I was near the battlefield and lots of black powder.

They have also plowed up a big area in the northern area to make rugby fields. Beautiful weather, but Elray was unhappy with my leaving her home. The trails were mostly in good shape, with a few down trees across in places.

Burpee Friday. Lots of Burpees, not as challenging as earlier in the week. I'm still sore from Wednesday. I did do some almost jumping moves today.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:117 max:137 shoes: Skechers GoFit

A good workout, but so far the easiest one this week. Which was good, because I am sore all over. I don't know if it was yesterday's tough workout or seeing Jared last night and pushing the sled, but the glutes, hamstrings, and quadriceps are all screaming at me.

Mapping at Hodge Park. I saw Martha on the way out, and she told me why they had put in the new trails and cleared a bunch of brush. They are having a really large Civil War reenactment tomorrow, which they only do every 3-5 years.
6 PM

Yoga 1:20:00 [1]

Candlelight yoga with Kit. I could really feel the stretch.

This was really tough today. Even the 30-sec. breaks between rounds were tough. Knee feeling good.

Workout 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Skechers GoFit

What a difference from my workout last week. We started with lots of agility drills, I had quite a few trips up and down the ramp, and I even pushed the sled the length of the gym and back three times. Wow! This should give me some power for Kentucky.

Not quite as hard as yesterday, but really worked up a sweat. Got 49 reps on the challenge, jab, cross, L round kick, R round kick for 3 minutes. I'm feeling much better and stronger than in a long time.

Orienteering 1:50:00 [3] 3.0 mi (36:40 / mi)
shoes: INOV8 TrailRoc 235

Went to Hodge Park with Bob and Elray to flag proposed control locations. Surprise! They were busy adding new trails in the historic session. We went out to the western side and a lot of the rough open with scattered trees had been changed to mostly rough open with single trees and copses. I got some of the stuff to put on the map, and will go out later this week by myself to make sure the area is remapped before finalizing where the controls will be for Nite-O.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:119 max:137 shoes: Skechers GoFit

Managed to be a member of the 100 club today. Every round had 100 somethings, with a break of 10 somethings, . I managed to do at least 100 at each round. It was brutal. Like 100 mountain climbers, 10 pushups. 100 flutter kicks, 10 dive bombers. I am feeling much stronger and have no knee pain so far today.

Yesterday I managed to do more than 10,000 steps. I also got 11 flights of stairs because of laundry.
6 PM

Yoga 1:25:00 [0]

Restorative yoga.

Dog Walking 35:00 [3] 2.0 mi (17:30 / mi)

People were playing tennis on the tennis courts, so we did a two-mile hike on the riverfront trail. We were moving at a good pace.
