9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:119 max:134

Brian was the trainer today. It always seems a little more aerobic when he's there.

Orienteering 36:00 [3] 2.3 km (15:39 / km)
shoes: INOV8 TrailRoc 235

Haven't orienteered in ages, so I put in my contact (haven't worn it for a week) and practiced with a map in hand. I also had Elray in the other hand which slowed me down on the fences. She also decided to spend some time rolling in the grass, but we did climb some very steep hills.

9Round 32:00 [3]
ahr:109 max:121

Not as aerobic as usual, but lots of weights--kettle balls, dumbbells, medicine balls. Burpee Friday. I'm sore today, and I think it was the "Gentle Yoga". Some of the stretches were intense.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:113 max:132

Managed 95 situps with double hook on the Round 4 challenge. I think there is a problem with my HRM, because it was indicating a higher percentage in the 80% range than what was printed out, and I was breathing like I was more into the 80% range. I do think the max of 132 is probably correct.

Dog Walking 58:00 [3] 3.9 mi (14:52 / mi)
shoes: Skechers GoRunS

The only time I've run in many months is for my warmup before seeing my trainer, so I took Elray to Watkins Mill and we did the circuit. She hadn't been there in a while, and wanted to sniff, but every time she would try to stop, I would exert upper body strength, and start to slog. So we made pretty good time, and I was pretty wiped out when we were finished.

Yoga 1:17:00 [2]

Tried Gentle Flow yoga today. I really liked it, but had trouble with the balancing and got a foot cramp in one position. Really focuses on breathing.

Good all over workout. I felt much better today, and even managed to get my shot.

Workout 1:04:00 [3]

Tonight my workout with Jared was tough. He had me push the sled the length of the gym and back four times. That really got my heart rate up. We worked agility with cones instead of the ladder, and that was more difficult also. I managed to finish strong, although the balance stuff could have been better.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:118 max:135

Today was leg day and it seemed really hard. Usually you get a little breather on Round 8 with the speed bag, but today it was jumping up and down on one leg while hitting the bag, interspersed with Burpees. My HRM blanked out a few times, because I know that my maximum was higher than this. I am feeling much better.

9Round 31:00 [4]
ahr:122 max:142

Hard workout, but I had a bad allergic reaction yesterday and spent the day on Benedryl. Feeling ok, but a little residual grogginess.
