9Round 32:00 [5]
ahr:124 max:140

Today was a tough day and the gym was very busy. My butt is sore from whatever I did a couple of days ago, and I had to slow down a couple of times to get my heart rate down.

Dog Walking 46:00 [2] 2.6 mi (17:42 / mi)
shoes: Skechers Trail

Affter 9Round and recycling, took ElRay to the trail be the high school. We walked about a mile to the road, then took a trip through the neighborhood instead of retracing steps. It was good except for a few blocks on Hwy 33 with no sidewalks.

9Round 32:00 [3]
ahr:114 max:134

Good workout. I had one move that was difficult for me--it involved jumping which I am very poor at, but I managed to do it. Last three minutes was side plank dips, alternating ten on each side. It was a long three minutes.

Orienteering 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: Skechers Trail

Went to Hodge Park and put in trails, streams and one really long fence. I quit a little earlier than Tuesday, and am not quite as wiped out. Now I get to spend the afternoon on the map.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:112 max:134

Brian was the trainer today. Nothing I had to modify for, but a solid, steady 32 minutes.
6 PM

Workout 1:00:00 [4]

Weekly workout with my trainer. Lots of upper body stuff--my arms were screaming (silently). Balance is getting very good, which is helpful when doing streambeds, etc. I wore my HRM tonight and eagerly look forward to see how hard I was working out.
10 PM

Dog Walking 30:00 [3]

Took ElRay to the Doggie Park at Ruth Stocksdale. No one else was there so we ran around, played Frisbee, ran around some more. Running uphill was a little struggle, but it was fun.

9Round 32:00 [4]
ahr:125 max:201

For some reason my HRM went crazy this morning, and then it reset itself to make me 30 years younger. Today was leg day, and it was challenging but not excessively.

Orienteering 2:30:00 [3]
shoes: Skechers Trail

Went to Hodge Park and mapped streambeds while it mostly dry. This is a really punishing thing to do, but the drier the better. I have several more days of this. I was in the southern end of the map, above the museum area, and the good news was I only saw one wait-a-minute vine and no blackberry vines and multiflora in the streambeds like there were at Watkins Mill and Smithville Lake. The bad news was that the place is really overrun with amur honeysuckle, so I did lots of ducking and diving and scrambling over stuff. I am really tired and covered in dry leaves. I also put in a bunch of ruined fences.
