Brian was in charge at 9Round and he always has a challenging workout. Lots of Burpees with variations--I was in the 80-90+% the entire time.

Took ElRay to Watkins Mill. A beautiful, and cool, day in the park. The only downside was lots of people. I increased my running again, so we did well on the walk/run. Some stops for passing, and being passed by herds of bicycles, one water stop, and a couple of stops so small children could pet her.

Today was Burpee Friday, and we did Burpees between each round. I have my HRM working correctly. After checking my weekly MYZONE, it appears to have hit a glitch last Sunday when it topped out at 195 and that made it reset. And I know that it wasn't really 195 because I'm still alive. Good workout today.

Took ElRay to the Riverfront Walk after 9Round and recycling. We did a fair amount of jogging, and she was ok except for twice insisting on the way back that she needed to roll around in the grass. She did because she needs to have fun too.

I knew my butt was sore this morning, and it kind of aches all the time including doing my workout at 9Round. I didn't realize how sore it was until I started running. It was screaming sore when I ran, so I visualized that was the butt fat cells crying and dying.

I did a lot of sweating today, but my HRM is still screwed up. Hannah got into the computer and tried to fix it. We'll see tomorrow. Today we started off by doing Burpees with a medicine ball.

A couple of really hard stations today. The plank position with toes on a big bag, going up to pushup position, then superman with the legs and back down to plank was tough. I was wondering why I couldn't get my HR up today, since I was getting somewhat out of breath. Angela suggested that I might need a new battery, so I got one. Then when I got home, I checked MYZONE and discovered some gremlin had changed my maximum heart rate from 150 to 201. If it is 220 minus your age, that would make me 19. No. I wouldn't want to be 19. I'm much smarter now. This is the second time this has happened.

The first half was pretty aerobic. Lots of agility drills, which I stepped up the pace. It felt good. Not so much upper body, so I shouldn't be sore for two days like last week.

Hard work, but not as aerobic as usual. Burpees today were done by jumping feet onto an about one foot tall stool thing, instead of the floor.

Beautiful weather. Upper 60's after being too hot for most of two weeks. ElRay and I went to Watkins Mill, and alternated walking and slogging. Only one water stop, which was probably 1 to 1-1/2 minutes included in my time. Whenever we saw squirrels or other dogs, I made sure we were running, so no distractions.
