I hereby declare the old MBT ready for the Bike O/thing Erik is running next week. Brakes are still a touch squeaky. Too much starting and stopping due to traffic and such, but gave me an opportunity to kind of interval train with acceleration.

I was most concerned about the tires having dry rot. Did the ride between the Argentina/Iran game and the Germany/Ghana games.

Caipirinha time.

During France's shellacking of Switzerland. Whatever will I do if there is not a soccer game to watch while X biking at home?

Cycling intervals 8:07 [2] 2.02 mi (4:01 / mi) +15m 3:56 / mi

Took out my MTB to see if it still worked. This is for the ErikEddython next weekend at the summer DVOA picnic. I am happy to say that the thunderthighs work and the MTB is not broken. Brake pads a bit squeaky and I had to stop numerous times at stops signs and the like, but I was happy with my ability to accelerate. :-)

I really cannot believe mapmyride's calorie counter is at all accurate - it says 135 kcal in 8 minutes. I was sweating a little when I got home. Guess us mesomorphs burn more kcal. ;-)
