Bog Slog 2019. A logistical fail on my part; I left home a bit later than I wanted, but forgot my bag of o-stuff (compass, e-punch, etc) so had to go back which wasted another 10min. Arrived some 20min before the start, but then the line for the restroom was extraordinarily long and took like 15min, after which I still had to get all the way up the hill and find the start. So I ended up starting about 5min late, but just after starting I realized it was too warm for an undershirt, so spent another 2min taking that off and leaving it, meaning to go back up afterward and grab it, which of course I forgot to do. So yeah, a lot of fails.

Great course by Ethan, a couple nice long legs, some shorter technical legs, some fun new stuff down on the flood plain in some surprisingly Iceland-esque forest and a very gnarly, Bog Slog-worthy loop at the end. I was in the "lead" as late as 15 but got wrecked by the brutal climb to 16 and my legs were RIP after that.
