Didn't really want to ride today but I did anyway, because it wasn't raining. Then later I saw two flashes of lightning, but they were a ways off to the north. Then right about when I got to the northernmost point of my loop, there was a big flash and peal of thunder that wasn't so far off, and I started thinking it might not be great to be riding around on an aluminum bicycle. Still, it didn't start raining till 5min after I was done.

This was a great idea, until it started pouring and it became a terrible idea. Still, there is a certain beauty and freedom in giving yourself up to the elements, like Bodhi from Point Break (2015 remake). Unlike Bodhi, I called in for an evac.
