Third Wednesday Evening Series event, at Lake Wilderness Park. I got to run this one because I wasn't the course setter (though I was the event director). Ran pretty well and felt good physically, which was a bit surprising but also an encouraging data point with all the big stuff coming up in the next couple months. We had about 60 starts, which is on the lower side of the average range. However, we did have an authentic Finn in attendance, wearing a jersey that said Paimio on it - I am not sure if this is the same or different than Paimion Rasti.

In other news, I now suspect my foot pain is caused by some variety of stress fracture. It has been some 2.5 months and there is still noticeable pain, though not very much; with a well-wrapped ankle I have been able to orienteer, generally without hindrance or consequence. I see little choice but to continue my current policy of not running, and hope for continued gradual recovery.
