GVOC Watershed Park. Crushed it today - felt fantastic physically and for the most part navigated with accuracy and decisiveness, although I've been to Watershed four times now so I'm pretty familiar with what not to do. One of my better races in a long while. Can't find splits anywhere yet.

In other great news, I stumbled upon my new massive sports crush: Emma Miskew. Thanks, Boston Pizza.

And of course, it's always great to hang with the Vancouver crew!

Easy Bridle Trails loop in the cold November rain.

So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
'Cause nothing lasts forever
Even cold November rain

Full Speed No Mistake was alright for a bit there but it's pretty much passé by now, which is why we in the PNW have come up with a new philosophy: You Only Orienteer Once. Or, YOOO. Now, what does YOOO really mean? That's still an open question since Jourdan just pulled it out of his rear, but I interpret it thus: run every race balancing wildly on the razor's edge like you'll never have the chance to run it again - because you won't. And if you blow up eff it, you felt alive. YOOO also dovetails nicely with the more established Critchley Doctrine ("run straight").

Wills have had a long and illustrious history but I think our finest hour was that one Friends episode where Brad Pitt guest-starred - and his name was Will.
