The field appears deeper on the men's side than in recent years; there are more than 15 who could crack the top five in any given race. It will be interesting to see what plays out. As for me, it will be nigh impossible to reprise my surprising successes from last year. I will have to be content with not coughing up any vital organs and running without leg pain. And having fun!
