Lick Creek long, but more of a classic distance. Struggled badly with the 80+ heat and sun, legs also felt really tired and listless. Starting around 7 or 8, just had low energy and felt like I couldn't move well at all, especially uphill. Navigated pretty well, though it wasn't the most technical Lick Creek course ever. Did make one error on 6; control was located next to a small pond, which didn't seem as apparent IRL as mapped. In fact I think I ran directly through the pond (marsh) without noticing and without seeing the flag some 5m to my left. Regardless, always a pleasure to be in the Teanaway!

Running warm up/down 6:09 [2] 0.53 mi (11:36 / mi)
