SART was a fantastic event again this year; major major credit to Patrick and Gina. There is such quality in both the maps and the course setting - particularly the three campus events. I can legitimately say that I've run in WOC races - albeit not very many ;) - which are less challenging and interesting than some of these sprint courses.
From the local rumor mill: I have heard that next year's edition of SART may possibly take place in conjunction (either just before or just after) the 2017 edition of CROC's Deschutes Daze, centered around Bend, OR. I fervently hope this indeed turns out to be the case as it would mean some of the best forest orienteering in North America coupled with some of the best sprint orienteering in North America. Seems like a orienteering bucket list item - get to the west coast y'all.
