Note

It's looking like an interesting race for the fifth and final Winter Series men's "money" spot between Oyvind Naess (344), Matt Baughman (344), Matt Hayes (267), Jon Campbell (264), and Alex Frank (255). ON has the current edge on MB based on a higher top score as well as a lower low score, and thus has the advantage of currently being in the lead and winning should the status quo be maintained, with greater opportunity for an improved total in hand.

All three of the others still must tally a fourth score. However, without improvement from ON or MB, MH or JC would move into fifth with 78 and 81, respectively - numbers which neither has finished below this season. AF is a bit more of a long shot, and would likely need to finish second (which, by the by, he has done this season) or third, while seeing other results break his way.

Time to break out the predictilator machine: We'll give Jon the nod here, based on his strong showing at Fire Mountain last year (as well as the fact that he's preregistered), and expect him to slot into fifth for the season. In fact, with a 92 or better on Saturday, he could very conceivably move into fourth.

Predicted final standings:

Men:
1. Eric Bone
2. Will Enger
3. Nikolay Nachev
4. Jeremiah Reiner
5. Jon Campbell

Women:
1. Heather Whitney
2. Rebecca Jensen
3. Tori Campbell
4. Gina Nuss
5. Marissa Roecks

The Campbells will be fighting over who gets the brand-new pair of $100 kicks, while the rest of us get to rock out with our new friend Ulysses. Whatever goes down, prizes make everything better, much like chocolate milk.

We'll see how clairvoyant my predictionin' is - and thanks to Rebecca for making the prizes happen!
