South SSS at Ramsgate. Unfortunately a very simple line course, which meant top speed (which i don't have) was all that mattered... probably could have read the paper. I feel like they could easily add a little more difficulty simply by placing more pockets of tightly packed controls at least to test reading ahead?... there was only 11 across 6km, which in open parkland is pretty straightforward? One small mistake on a clever little hidden fence which was marked correctly.

Wolli track with Andy in 35 degrees Felt ok for the first half, but hit a wall at the turn around as we were more exposed. so much suffering. took 30mins longer than expected and i was walking the flats at the end. Definately did not feel like a healthy thing to be doing. Longest run post-op i think, time-wise and kms. Main issue was tightness in lower chest like a cross between the heartpain i've been feeling lately and gastric distress. Probs mostly the heat.
Had intended on running summer series with oscar in pram and my brother with his kid in his pram, but miscommunication meant we just ended up doing the mini. Oh well, probably not the best map to try that anyway, as it probably would have meant a lot of pram running on the road without footpaths.

tried livingstone road up to lilyfield road. livingstone not great (road crack between parked cars and traffic), otherwise good apart from the citywest link crossing (should use norton st). Might try petersham road tomorrow.
