Couple of drinks at the hotel pool at the sofitel and running was the most convenient way home.
Legs feeling pretty good, but maybe that's just the beers.

L knee a bit sore, and legs really not recovering between rides. Should probably keep resting until the weekend before starting to think towards 6foot... would like to do some solid downhill stuff before that tho.

Legs actually starting to feel good running again, apart from niggles in ankles and feet. Should be good to start training again on the weekend.

Tried "Jon's mix" on zwift.
Watts so far down i'm thinking they've changed their speed/watt algorithm tbh.
couldn't hold 40w under ftp for more than 4 mins...

Anne was taking oscar to shower and bed and realised... hold on, instead of watching tv like a slob i could go for a ride!
6 laps of Centennial, 1on, 1off.
on times were around 6:05 which is 15seconds slower than the TT bike prior to HIM western syd... think part of that is the bike, but a big part of that is a loss of about 30 watts, and maybe still shattered muscles from tarawera.

Great to get out on the roadie, it was gathering dust, and legs felt pretty good.

Starts were running 20 minutes late so ran out of time and had to go home as i had a dinner to get to.
Probably a good thing, knees and ankles still stuggling so wouldn't have been able to push it anyway.
