Running 34:04 [1] 5.77 km (5:54 / km) +63m 5:36 / km
shoes: GT2000 WhiteOrange

Legs feeling VERY heavy this morning, but not sore... hopefully just because of a big brekkie and no coffee.
Halfway through R outer hip felt pretty wierd, so walked for a bit and then eased back into it.
12 PM

Running hills 59:10 [4] 11.6 km (5:06 / km) +452m 4:16 / km
shoes: GT2000 WhiteOrange

Over to the moo stairs for 10 continuous reps with Bull and Mounty. Only got lapped by Bull once, so thats a success. 9m15s for 10.
Then back following the water at a reasonable clip until the sydney writers festival crowds made it impossible/impassable.

Great session. with no breaks it really becomes a good legburner.
And very re-assuring that my legs from this morning was a once off.

Note

Legs finally have some life in them again but a combination of sick partner and needy child today meant had to skip milsons point. Will do something tempo/stairs tomorrow to make up.

Running 27:13 [3] 5.78 km (4:43 / km) +59m 4:29 / km
shoes: Boston Adidas boost

Recovery. Cadence at 185 this time. Too fast and had to shorten my stroke dramatically to stay on target. Managed it though and a nice experiment
5 PM

Running 42:27 [3] 8.07 km (5:16 / km) +111m 4:55 / km
shoes: Boston Adidas boost

Recovery commute home with brad.

Note

Quads still suitably wrecked from Saturday :)
1 PM

Running 37:16 [3] 7.68 km (4:51 / km) +183m 4:20 / km
shoes: Kayano Gold

Recovery run keeping cadence high (~175) using spotify running to try and get some bloodflow into the legs.
Did a mounty around barangaroo and rockhopped around the full perimeter.
Finished with a long cold shower.
Seemed to work really well and definately feeling a lot more mobile after the run.

Wanted to get a big hill session in ahead of solitary given its two weeks away and found some good steep technical stuff on a map near Wollongong.
Immediately from the start realised it was too steep given the rain and the mud but kept at it.
Crazy technical and parts would have been un-walkable without lugged shoes on.
Highlight was the goat track, a 40% mud climb. And doing the offtrack cliffclimb under mt Keira lookout because the mt pleasant track was closed.
Descending downhill MTV tracks always fun too.
