Leichardt to LaneCove and back in time for brekkie. One of the trails on the way back was closed due to "asbestos contamination" so had to turn back and return the side i came in on.
Still coughing stuff up at first, but sickness didn't seem to effect too much for the rest of the run. Left hip giving grief, and quite sore by the end. Need to sort that out.
Listened to music for once, which i almost never do, and really enjoyed it, kept me relaxed, until a magpie swooped me at Boronia oval (HR=176bpm). I waved my hat at it as i ran away, and it followed me all the way across the oval, despite there being a full football team training, and heaps of people around. I then realised my ipod shuffle flew off somewhere. I went back to look for it, but couldn't immediately find it and he started swooping me again, so i let him have it.

Nutrition: Brekkie (toast) & coffee. 2 muesli bars, 1 vegemite sandwich. only 1.5L water

Lunchie. First time on Berry island including some rock scrambling. Took Coach Hill's advice and tried to find a loop where i can do some trail intervals. Berry's probably not quite technical enough, but fun to blast.
