Lane Cove Rogaine with Brooner
Had intended on only spending 3-4 hours out. Brooner was only keen for that amount of time, and any longer doesn't suit my marathon schedule, but realised quite early on that it was VERY possible to get them all in 5 hours or so!
Adjusted our plan after the first half to try and get them all, but my energy and legs went downhill after a liquor-shop stop for cider. We both ended up being in a pretty low-phase at the exact point we needed to decide whether to collect 94, which would have been a 30minutes out-and-back, and called it a day, looping back, and getting back over an hour early, getting all controls except 94.
Had a great time, really loved the rogaining thing, and Brooner was very (irritatingly) strong all day. Think he's ready for oxfam! Not completely happy with my legs, but can live with it.

Side-note... copped a fair bit of shite from others on the trail, and didn't experience much trail love, not getting much response on the "good mornings" and "have a nice days"... the rogaining crowd is wierd...

Easy recovery commute
R glute VERY tight at the start. Recovery has been very slow this week, partly because of some flu, and probably a bit because my legs don't really seem to be able to run in flats.

Note
(sick)

Just over a week of low carb and have dropped serious pounds.
Unsurprisingly, this, combined with yesterday's thrash fest and spending time with people's snotty kids has resulted in some mucus action and interrupted sleep.
