Had the day off because the office flooded so decided to ride northeast with no route. Took ages to get out of the city, but was nicer from epping forest. Managed to find NCN1 which I was happy to follow through quiet lanes ending up in Chelmsford. Probably the 2nd best marked cycle route I've been on, very relaxing.
Absolutely fell apart just short of 70km so stopped at a pub. Ordered food but found I couldn't really eat anything, so continued to a train station and travelled home. Combination of jetlag, IM recovery and food poisoning. Hopefully ok by the weekend for peaks district.

About 8 hours into the flight to London had pretty bad food poisoning. Managed to live through the flight, but couldn't eat or drink anything for about 48 hours. Horrible experience.
