From orienteering Ben took us to a Nice! Park with semi-closed roads and a cool stream/waterfall. On the way back I felt the beast and carried on alone to limp up a HC version of the puerto navacerrada climb. Reminded me that no matter how shite you feel, if you keep tapping away, you'll get there.

Big day featuring some Nice! Climbs. Gorgeous scenery. Felt pretty good bike-wise, especially after the big day yesterday. Amazing route be Ben.
Pretty confident that if I have high fitness in may I'll be able to get bikefit in a month for the etape.

This was frikking epic. Ran with Ewen (the machine) up across a ridge above cercedilla. Knee-deep snow-holes at the top. Really suffered with the altitude above 1800m although to be fair I would have been struggling with the steepness anyway.
Beautiful at the top, fresh snow etc. Had to borrow a dudes iceclimbing axe to get down a wall, and promptly fell, completely expecting it to come down on my head.

Surprisingly long climb up to orienteering. Very hard after this morning's effort. Linea overtook me 100 m from the top on a rented mountainbike. Gutted.

Up and down Pueeto Navacerada with Ben. Middle section of a climb from the vuelta. Felt very fresh despite not being on the bike for a while and paced up nicely. Amazing riding up through the snow-level
