Went on a clubride with Hackney CC (and Dom).
Ride felt a bit long, but was quite a relaxed pace 95% of the time.
Fun and social, but maybe not quite tough enough as a training ride

Took it pretty easy, a couple efforts but nothing too serious.
Started pissing down after breakfast and was freezing... awesome time for a puncture...

Lunchrun with Colin, Tim and Jules
Felt pretty good from the start so decided to push the pace slightly from the last couple of runs... not quite tempo, closer to racepace.
Colin stuck with me which was nice and felt good right to the end.

Pain stayed below 3, mostly about a 2.

I'm running valencia!

Today was my self-defined D-Day
If i could get through 25k on saturday with a period at racepace and be able to run again on Monday without it being any worse, it was a yes.

Today's run was the best it's felt in a long time.
Pain was between a 0 and a 1 for the first 8 km, then around a 3-5 for a km, then back to a 1 for the last 2 k (after a quick rest at lights, rolling ankle around etc and relaxing the pace a bit more)

finally some progress!
