Trailrun, Bundeena to Otford, Australia

Brad, Tara, Craig and I ran the Coastal Path from Bundeena to Otford.
Amazing views.
Brad was very strong off the back of the Northface 50 in May, Craig seemed to have lost a bit of his ironman form, Tara pushed through.
Really could feel the difference between trails and road here as the course was very technical, especially the second half through a jungle of vines and palm trees.
All singletrack, and a fair amount of stairs etc.
Rolled ankle at 3/4 mark, but was able to carry through. May also lose a toenail.
Most enjoyable run i've ever done i reckon. Thanks @prong for the recommendation!
Would have been nice to do it a bit faster, but completely fine easing up for the majority of the run so that Tara and Craig could still enjoy themselves.

Note
(rest day)

Rest day today.
More because i was too busy, and a little sore from intervals
Need to rest for Saturday so might miss a Med run this week... the riding should make up for it.

Out with my dad, early morning ride around Richmond, NSW and the lowlands.
had a half-assed crack at a driftway segment and a little rise out of the lowlands, but otherwise just a relaxing ride with pa!

Australia
Cremorne to Balmoral along the coastal path, then cold legs in the ocean
Undulating and hilly.
Tried to do 1km intervals, but often found myself midway through, going downhill, so had to improvise a bit. difficult to know whether i got the right stuff out of the session, and difficult to know yet whether i did some inappropriate damage during.
dipped legs in the water in Balmoral which was amazing.

great place to run, but going to struggle to find time in the next couple of weeks... gonna have to stay on top of it

Early morning 26k in Wilberforce, Australia.
Saw a dead snake and heaps of other aussie wildlife.
felt tight given the last couple of days... had to do some technique stuff near the end to stretch up. Happy with pace and HR
9 AM

Cycling 2:05:40 intensity: (23:58 @0) + (31:59 @1) + (35:37 @2) + (29:29 @3) + (1:10 @4) + (3:27 @5) 49.18 km (23.5 kph) +760m

Got home from my longrun and the boys were waiting for me to go for a ride.
I was shattered and in calorie deficit, so SMASHED about a million foods and jumped on the bike.
Beautiful route around lower portland. 2 ferries. a bunch of quite reasonable climbs.
Saw a live red belly black snake... freaky.

Dad died a bit in the end, but otherwise pulled well on the flats.
