Wouldn't have been up for the extortionate miles that the Pentlands had to offer. Could barely afford these at 2 for 2.20


Feeling very tired. Didn't go as a lot of work to do and things on.

A good three weeks of training done and getting a bit tired now. No running tomorrow-perhaps a swim.

Warm up lap of the meadows. Feeling tired and had eaten a very big brunch an hour before :L

running 26:00 [4] 6.82 km (3:49 / km) +10m 3:47 / km

6xx 3.30/1. Not feeling great at the start but made the decision to just grind it out. All just under 3.30min/km apart from the third which was 3.33 and the last which was 3.18

Nice slow run with a couple quite tough climbs. With Tam, Tim, and Ali. Weather started out grim but after about two minutes was nice. Up to Whinnie, loop around there then up to the top of the seat and down. Didn't feel like training!

Got dropped very quickly and headed back just before my torch died. Had to rush off for some 5s anyway but legs feeling v wrecked from squats maybe. Day off running tomorrow.

EUOC time trial. Really annoying as I used Strava on my phone to record it thought I had gone 15 seconds quicker... I hadn't. No worries though just means I need to beat both the times next time... I am tempted to incorporate it into a session in the coming weeks and get a more certain marker!! Felt good though for a night out and bed after 2. Lost 16 seconds to Nixon on the final hill, poor. Looking at all the other segments i was slow up the hills and fast on the downs and flats.
