Set out hard and was i quite a bunch by the second control. Ran alone for most of the way from here, a few 20-30 second misses and a bad route on the long leg meant we weren't in contention for that elusive gold... Ah well solid team effort for second! Turns out I missed the school bus, managed to gain some time on it though, must have been low on fuel!

So pleased to have my name on a trophy as a junior! Probably the last chance I was going to get as I am most likely not heading to the sprint and middle. Ran pretty well with a few little time losses in the first half and first couple of controls following the map changeover but nothing major. From there it was just a bit of a slog, struggling to move but getting most controls... Caught Tim and Ali along the way which helped me to push on. Exhausted by the end, should maybe have given the cycle a miss! Looking forward to next couple months of training, not really for anything in particular but ah well...

80 miles with a friend with lunch at bang on forty. Fantastic day for it. I bonked majorly with about six miles to go having felt fine till then. Will need a full day of rest tomorrow:P

Jog around Dunblane with a friend. I think Achilles will be up for a decent session soon enough but at the moment will just stick to pushing on the orienteering...

Run with a mate... Good catch up and feeling tiiiiiiiired. Walked up Arthur's Seat in the afternoon and was feeling it, I am so FIT.
