orienteering 33:00 [5] 6.8 km (4:51 / km) +200m 4:14 / km

Second leg men's open for FVO. Quite hard off the start and got one and two cleanly. Ran straight to seventeen instead of three and lost forty seconds or so before messing up number four immediately after. The linear marshes confused me here and didn't really seem very obvious. From here I was just gradually pulling back through people right behind Jamie Parkinson from OUOC who was busy dragging me around. Totally different gaffle but just made me run that little bit harder. Relatively pleased with the run but without those mistakes at the start could have set up GG considerably better. Pleased with an overall third place anyway!

orienteering 1:39:00 [3] 12.0 km (8:15 / km) +400m 7:04 / km

Going ok first half but then had some doubt as to whether I was running the right course and lost it second half. Feeling tired unsurprisingly.

running 3:00:00 [3] 22.0 km (8:11 / km) +1600m 6:00 / km

Run from the top car park at Cairngorm. Ben Macdui, Ben Vane and Cairngorm to finish. Feeling tired but loved it. Walking all the steep climbs and most of the way down the back of Ben Vane as I was wearing trainers to protect my shins:L didn't race the train down as I knew I would have smashed it;) actually just didn't want to risk it wearing trainers which meant I was going over on my ankle every now and then.

Just being a general idiot before the British:P

cycling 50:00 [3]

To and from the hill incredibly slowly, failing miserably to stay on my bike...
11 AM

running 1:03:00 [4] 10.7 km (5:53 / km) +600m 4:36 / km

Run up Bynack More. Nice run and was made to push pretty hard on both climbs by James. Was running reasonably fast on the descent as Tortoise Tam was pushing the pace.
