orienteering 52:00 [5] 8.7 km (5:59 / km) +160m 5:28 / km

really bad race today. confused off the start with a stupid mistake on number one with the path/ride mapping. from here i lost focus and concentration, losing time on most legs and generally having an awful run. 7th on M16 in the end.

Had a good race. Clean through most of the course with a couple of minor route choice losses. Twenty five seconds ahead and leading into number thirteen. Then a one minute and thirty second mistake to fourteen. Off line and a lack of concentration took me 45 degrees wrong. Reasonably quick relocation and clean on the last few controls to finish fourth ~1 minute down on the lead. Looking forward to tomorrow. I guess i ran more climb than given but cannot check now.

Decent race. Quite fast but not very flowing. Lost forty seconds. just under thirty due to misreading of descriptions. Wrong side of wall on number eleven And overshot 8,9,14 by five to ten seconds. Still quite pleased and looking forward to tomorrow. Too many detours by the look of distance. Will have to check the trace as seems quite remarkably long

Short just to wake up legs. I have got some quite worrying sort of minor fluid build up in my muscles so when i press my tensed muscle it leaves an indent taking a few seconds to go. I hope that it is just due to sudden stopping of exercise and also could have something to do with some of the medicine i have taken. Will just keep an eye on it. Throat still slightly sore but large improvement. This jog felt too tough

Note

Totally bunged up and sore throat turned slightly chesty but isn't feeling as bad as was over the weekend. Just not doing anything and hoping it will improve. Won't be in a fantastic condition for jk but i don't think it should affect me results wise.
