running warm up/down 9:11 [2] 1.41 km (6:31 / km) +35m 5:48 / km

orienteering tempo 9:37 [4] 1.51 km (6:22 / km) +32m 5:46 / km

Head to head with sasha. Easy navigation but pretty tough underfoot

orienteering 25:00 [3] 3.3 km (7:35 / km) +120m 6:25 / km

Longer. Messed up one control coming too high. Lost three minutes probably

orienteering race 24:30 [4] 4.0 km (6:08 / km) +150m 5:09 / km

Forgot to start the watch so an estimation. Quite enjoyable race. Partner came in a couple of minutes down and tenth or so. Pushed from the start not have to do much map reading due to the train of people! Overtook tam and callum before starting to gain on mat. Then an awful route choice near the end losing me a minute over a hill putting me back behind callum. Again. All good fun!

National xc. Under seventeen category. Bit of a wake up call. Smashed by sasha who came in 2540ish. Ah well something to improve on:L awful paceing from me going off far too fast and really flagging on the second lap. Ah well pleased i raced in the end! 45th i think

Forgot to start garmin. Ok run a big miss near the start of around two to three minutes which was a bit annoying as i would have enjoyed a bit of pack running! Then on my own for the rest of the course. Saw very few people and managed to keep it semi clean:L seven minutes down on the elites who were probably just out for an easy training run:L good fun though wish i had started coming to these events earlier!

Tough set but took maybe a bit too easy because didn't want to knacker myself for the bleep test!:L

Did ok with five - ten. Reckon i could have got sixteen if i had had someone to push against
