First run in a long time. A test of the hamstring. Seems fine. Hooray! Did 10 min of ice afterwards as a precaution. Will also try some heat later to see what that does.
The only time it has bothered me in the past week is when sitting for a long time, like during those extra innings ball games.
Estimated time to run errands. 1) pick up paint for B. 2) get two bottles of wine. 3) buy a can of old-fashioned floor wax. (Number two holds the most promise,)
Walking at CRP putting out controls and then later picking up controls for NOD instructional courses. Also walked a little shadowing a small group for a while. Nice day. Good but not overwhelming turnout. Woods still like in the summer but cooler temps.
What a waste. Rode the bike to the gym and a block from my destination realized that I didn't have the bike lock with me. So I rode back home and was too discouraged to return to the gym. Plus it was late.
Out Kensington and back on Main. Major headwinds on the way back. Approx 45 minutes roundtrip. Then a quick trip to the vet for Lulu's expensive kibble.
Bidwell Parkway was nice. Richmond Avenue was nice. The traffic circles were exciting. Delaware was not so nice except for S curves. Lots of people in the park. Hard to look at them when whizzing by.
Over to "The Strip" to get a haircut, find out about toe clips, and pose at the coffee shop. Bought cauliflower on the way home. Passed through the cemetery on the way to and fro. HS cross country teams were practicing. School starts tomorrow - but not for me.
Around the park and then over to Buff State thinking about it as a possible sprint venue. Then back. I'm thinking I'm running out of interesting places to bike for an hour.
Over to Hertel and then west on Hertel until halftime and then back past zoo and briefly into park on path by Parkside. Got past the new Spot on Hertel before turning back.
