Short training course I designed at great falls. Old map but still in pretty good shape as far as I could tell.

Running 56:37 [3] 11.02 km (5:08 / km) +232m 4:39 / km
ahr:157 max:182 shoes: Brooks PureGrit 6

Easy run at Prince William forest. Parked at the visitor center this time, or close to it and didn't realize that there's only one trail that crosses into the other section of the park. So I did a couple double loops, went into the cabin section which I apparently wasn't supposed to, and ran on the road for a bit. Breaking all of the rules today!

Running intervals 52:32 [5] 10.46 km (5:01 / km) +102m 4:47 / km
ahr:140 max:157 shoes: Brooks PureGrit 6

Intervals at Conway Robinson state forest. 6x5'00 with 1'00 rest between.

Paces were 3'39, 3'37, 3'49, 3'47, 3'55, and 4'09.
I definitely felt dead before starting the last two, so I'm not surprised that my pace fell off a cliff. I also definitely haven't been sleeping enough the last couple days, which I'm sure is factoring into this as well.

Felt like a good interval session nonetheless

My injured finger felt pretty good, so I went climbing today. No reinjury, and I was able to check off a V4. I did struggle with some other V3s and V4s that I didn't end up getting today, but I figured out each section and just have to put them together cleanly.
Not nearly back to where I was, but it feels good

Another awesome long run at on the Occoquan trail. This time I went all the way from Bull Run Marina to the next parking lot. Felt really easy and good for a 20k run
