Collecting controls in two sessions, 2 miles each plus jogging to and from field house to find the Rec Sports administrators (we were locked in behind the gate but ended up finding the back way out...).
Perfect day for an event, cloudless and 55F. This plus hitting the social media (2 meet-up groups, facebook, etc) for promotion paid off. I counted 40 cars, so probably we had around 80 people. In previous years we had 25. And I didn't mind rushing back to my office to print additional yellow maps, which went like hot rolls!

Ran to College Woods and back. In between spent about 20 minutes of a bit more field checking for the Saturday event. Lovely day again. 65' of running time.

Had to venture out for a long run. We are having a string of absolutely perfect lovely cool weather, with no cloud in the sky. Leaf out and vegetation is holding off due to light frosts every morning. So, the woods are still open. I did mostly trail running with a few off-trails exploring episodes (maybe 2 miles). First down to VW field, then back to BrookDale and via W Foss Farm to Wiswall dam, loop around Littlejohn, then back but with slight variation. Good the get some mileage in.

Ran to College Woods and back, and did some field checking, mostly adjusting (adding!) the vegetation that has been growing in places especially on the W end of the map. This is for the event coming up this Saturday.
