Orienteering race 1:07:51 [4] 10.01 km (6:47 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcon

OHV CSW Belmont Bunkers. Red long 6.5K 420m
From Stratton Street, so a bit different to normal. Good use of the open terrain (though obviously still fairly easy), then some nasty bush stuff to get back down at the end.
Generally ran pretty well, but lost time at the end. Lost 1min 14-15 not cutting through from the MTB track, though it wasn't obvious that that was the best option (also 30sec helping someone who'd run off her map!). Went down the stream to 16 which was very slow.
Felt the calf a bit early on but pretty good for the rest.

Good run by Ruairi ...

Note

Golf with Oli on the Terrace course - 53. Bit of a shocker scorewise, but didn't actually play that badly. A lot of sand!

Running 51:18 [3] 8.85 km (5:48 / km) +432m 4:40 / km
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Dropped at the park in Silverstream. Tapestry - Guildford Spur - Avian.
Legs fairly tired. Calf mostly OK but still don't feel that I'm running completely symmetrically.

Running 35:36 [3] 8.0 km (4:27 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Harriers. To Silverstream round a bit and back. Short one because lots of people running the Vosseler on Saturday. Legs heavyish at the start so going fairly slowly, but sped up as it went on and was feeling pretty good by the end.

Running 1:17:12 [3] 11.0 km (7:01 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212

At Battle Hill. This time checking out the Western half including testing some route choices at a higher intensity. Calf still niggling away in the background.

Cycling 59:09 [3] 25.31 km (2:20 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop ACW.
Consistent NW breeze made the first half a bit harder than expected, but was generally going well. The hill doesn't get any easier.
