From Wainui MTB Park. Up Puriri track to the ridge, then big loop round Western half of Wainui via the ECNZ track down the spur and then the Mt Lowry track from the S. end of Wainui. Back down the Puriri track.
A punishing run. Hadn't realised how humid it was so was not able to ever put too much effort in and was very tired towards the end. Only just managed to run the whole Mt. Lowry climb.

Hills. The 3-4-3 session except that the 4 was on the main track as the usual track was too grassy and wet. A bit easier as only a 70 second climb.
Obviously I'm not completely over the cold - struggled a bit with the breathing.

Sprint - Scots College.
Pretty good course - variety and some interesting route choices - but nothing too difficult. Fairly clean, but lost about 30s at 12 which was in the wrong place. Wasted a few seconds at 1 where I temporarily forgot to punch my map when the SI box didn't work.
Physically probably a bit on the slow side, particularly early on - aftereffects of running reasonably hard yesterday.

From Totara Park up the zigzag track, round the Hidden Valley loop ACW and back the same way. Had to run fairly hard to be back in time to pick Larissa up, but actually felt pretty good. No real aftereffects left from last weeks cold?
