Running 1:28:58 [3] 16.62 km (5:21 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

The wet weather run (Petone Beach - Hutt River - Harbourview - Oakleigh St. Taking shorter options and cutting the odd corner as had to be on time to pick Larissa up afterwards.

Weather appalling. Hutt River almost overflowing and very strong headwind going up the river. Still enjoyable though and felt a lot better than yesterday.

Running 1:32:07 [3] 16.0 km (5:45 / km) +660m 4:46 / km
shoes: Nike Pegasus 31

From Totara Park up the zigzag track, round the shorter (usual) version of the loop beyond and back down the longer way.

Really struggled for quite a while - tired, guts feeling bad and sacroiliac complaining. Improved a bit but never felt that wonderful. Rain and wind didn't help.

Another unreliable Garmin day.

Note

Golf at RW. Club Championship match v Michael Lee. Lost 4&3, though played pretty well (probably 93) with a lot of very good shots. His handicap about 5 lower than mine so not a surprising result.

Rogaine race 2:59:55 [3] 21.0 km (8:34 / km) +760m 7:15 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Rogaine - Karori Cemetery - Otari - Crofton Downs, including the ridgeline. With Caspar.

Enjoyable circuit. We deliberately went for all the bush controls, which wasn't ideal in terms of scoring points, but was Caspar's preference (and mine to be honest). Some usual rogaine randomness. Never found 70 which was one of the worst control sites I've seen on a rogaine. As a result we had to rather hurry back.

Felt pretty good most of the time, although left heel quite sore at times (as it has been on and off for months). Felt as though I might get cramp, but didn't.

Distance is a guess as Garmin stopped measuring distance for a big chunk of time (though seems to have produced the correct track anyway).

Cycling 57:32 [3] 25.31 km (2:16 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop CW. Decent conditions.
Went at a reasonable tempo and felt pretty good.

Running 51:34 [3] 8.17 km (6:19 / km) +412m 5:02 / km
shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

Hills - the 2 x 4 session. First hill / interval session for well over a year. Actually coped pretty well, but had felt really good running up teh hill beforehand.
