Running 36:13 [3] 5.03 km (7:12 / km) +236m 5:50 / km
ahr:129 max:148 (injured) (sick) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

Took the kids orienteering in Central Park (starting at the bottom of the main road up to Brroklyn). Didn't fancy a rough 2.9Km with 270m climb so did a loop over into the bush to the West using MTB tracks.

Taking it fairly easy, but obviously a fairly physical route. Didn't feel too bad until the last couple of climbs. Obviously not in a state where I could put any real effort in.

(injured) (sick)

Still very much under the weather. Not a really bad cold, but not up to doing any exercise yet.

Note
(sick)

Started feeling a bit dodgy late yesterday. Particularly a sore ear. Seems to be developing into a proper cold today.

Running 46:46 [3] 7.94 km (5:53 / km) +370m 4:47 / km
ahr:131 max:151 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

The Dry Creek loop ACW.

Feeling reasonably good, and only mild hamstring pain. Conditions slow - very slippery in places.

Note

Finally got a scan on my hip area. It's probably not, as had been suggested, a hernia. Probably good as I can now make some plans, but it would have been nice to know what the problem was!

Orienteering race 26:18 [4]
ahr:153 max:160 (injured) shoes: VJ Falcon

QB Day 3 - Tuhaitara - M50 - 3.2Km

Great fun, though probably a bit too much control picking. Certainly very intense - a real struggle to find time to look ahead at all.

Mostly good. Biggest mistake was falling over badly 16-17 (10s) and then being a bit disorientated to 18 (20s). Also small time losses on 8, 10 and 22. Physically, hip was very sore beforehand, but wasn't a problem while running - the full on nature of the navigation didn't leave time to worry about physical issues.

Got through the whole weekend without Winsplits noticing a single mistake!
