Orienteering race 1:10:02 [3] 6.96 km (10:04 / km)
ahr:142 max:158 (injured) shoes: VJ Falcon

QB Day 2 - Butler's Bush - M50 - 5.6Km 430m

Grim. Very cold, hilly, slippery and thick in places. Also, had forgotten my glasses so was struggling to read the map, particularly in the forest (though the rain / sleet would have made it difficult anyway).

Back got sore quite early on and SI / hamstring were both quite sore, so didn't try to push at all.

Lost about 30s at 6 where the map was dubious. The about 1 minute at 9, mainly caused by not being able to read the map. About 30s at 11 as control was probably in the wrong place. Otherwise fine, but not really going fast enough to miss much.

Orienteering race 38:40 [4] 5.92 km (6:32 / km)
ahr:153 max:161 (injured) shoes: VJ Falcon

QB Day 1 - Leithfield - M50 - 5.3Km

Fun course. Not as difficult as some of the other areas north of Christchurch as the coastal dune strip was thinner and there were more tracks available, but still reasonably intense.

Good run. Only lost a few seconds at 15 Other minor time losses were just vegetation issues. Physically felt fine. Not trying to run flat out, but a decent tempo.

Running 47:20 [3] 7.76 km (6:06 / km)
ahr:131 max:150 shoes: Nike Pegasus 31

The Cannon Point loop, going up the zigzag track and including the trig point. Feeling a bit under the weather. Hip sore, but hamstring not as bad as in other recent runs.

Don't think this is really as short as 7.76Km!
