Our 12th anniversary! Spent the day at Bedford Springs and Gail got the massage I gave her for her birthday.
After the massage I got in a run. Claire was running out of steam and loosing her cool, so I didn't want to go over an hour and push off lunch and nap-time. I didn't do things exactly as planned, but did ru up to the mountain top on the south side (the north side shown on the map I still haven't come across). I planned to go straight up, but got mixed up and took a more roundabout loop, which was really nice. It split the climb into 3 parts instead of one longer climb that I was looking for. I still enjoyed it and found a direct way down (that was still pretty good on knees) that will work on the way up next time for a more direct ascent. I feel like the bug is leaving my system and felt myself a but more on this run. The trails had tons of water, especially the last push up to the top, but Bedford Springs has done a lot of work to create drainage pathways and that helps. I felt good for climbing and enjoyed this beautiful post rain run. Felt Ok going down, but knee did seem to swell afterword...
Bee sting still present and left achilles was there, but loosened up ad I went and found form with hip shift. Wore the Salamons do to the rain and they are nicer on the achilles anyway.
