Warmup. It turns out I should have been warming up my brain instead.

I never did get very good at this during this part. I constantly overshot, and found myself losing gobs of time on a number of controls. The worst was when I ended up at 17 when trying for 15. Looking at my watch, I figured the best thing to do was just proceed from there to the finish and get ready for the relay.

Less difficult and better navigation, but more running into people, blocking and being blocked. Did lose some time heading to 2 and 9, and cost my relay team a better finish.

Left Bub's early to avoid eating a third plate of sides. Turned out this sacrifice was not necessary, as traveling much slower than in the daytime was the key to staying in contact with the map, and running was only useful to get to #50. Missed seeing the cemetery, not having a powerful light.

Over Cooper and Rice hills and down a trail to try to find my childhood campsite. Failed, because I can't run for 2+ hours right now. Altitude change is an estimate from a topo map.
