Chippy tea (mc&c) so slight increase.
Slight tender right thigh yesterday evening and today so wont do planned parkrun but will go watch if Elaine going (drizzly weather)
8 AM

warm up warm up/down (easy one re high HR) 7:52 [1] 1.13 km (6:58 / km) +3m 6:52 / km
ahr:135 max:170 shoes: Saucony Peregrine 5 (trail)

never felt like 170. Download a constantly high plateau but in truth the HR was nearer my breathing thresh of 142. Sandrunner agrees that it might be battery on the HR chest strap.

Felt okay on the warm up, the thigh was okaaaay. So have a gentle trot around the Parkrun
9 AM

Steady run (Hesketh Park Parkrun) 26:38 [3] 5.07 km (5:15 / km) +8m 5:13 / km
ahr:145 max:154 shoes: Saucony Peregrine 5 (trail)

Got a spike/plateau of 164 near the start but after 4 mins it levelled off to approz 145-150 throughout.

nice run - not too taxing - constant pace and didn't get dragged along in the last 500 by the finish draft

cool down warm up/down 12:08 [1] 1.7 km (7:08 / km) +5m 7:02 / km
ahr:129 max:140 shoes: Saucony Peregrine 5 (trail)

realistic HR for a steady cooldown
