Mountain biking (Skills clinic) 2:00:00 [2]

Beginner skills clinic. Very weird using flat pedals with seat as low as possible. Still struggled with cornering. Great learning experience and lots of things I can work on in our yard.

Mountain biking (Skills clinic lvl 2) 20 [2]

Intermediate skills clinic. Started with quick review of what we covered in the morning, then started working on rear wheel lifts. My first attempt my foot slid of the pedal, went behind it, and scraped across the metal peg on the pedal opening a 5" gash in my shin. Bob picked me up and took me to a nearby urgent care. Bummed to miss the rest of the clinic, but I'll have a fancy new scar on my right leg.

Orienteering (Greensfelder) 3:55:35 [3] 11.9 mi (19:48 / mi) +1809ft 17:18 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 10

Total time was actually 5:54:55, which just goes to show how much time we spent standing figuring out where to go as well as hanging flagging.

Ran (hiked) the BOR night-o course with Mickey. I forget how much that off-trail rocky slide slope leaves me feeling beat up. I got to be "lead navigator", which was fine until the last hour or so when I was mentally over it. Good reminder of how nice it is to NOT be the navigator and just coast along in the wake until called upon for input.

Running (Neighborhood) 20:11 [3] 2.0 mi (10:05 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Not really trying to go fast and it was faster than my normal easy runs.

Running (Placating the dog) 14:35 [2] 1.3 mi (11:13 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Running (Neighborhood without B.) 19:25 [3] 2.0 mi (9:42 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Two miles with times starting with a 9...that's a big deal these days. Granted, sub-10 felt like I was sprinting, but hopefully what passes for speed for me will come back as I run more.

Running (Neighborhood) 24:40 [2] 2.2 mi (11:13 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline

Neighborhood run with Berkeley. Autopause was off, so this also reflects the time spent on his pee breaks and scooping up poop. That dumb dog is lucky I love him.
