JK long

Finally a run that I am statifsed with to a certain measure. Lost two minutes on 3 due to big banana, rushing the process. Calmed down then and orie teeter fairly well and ran hard where it allowed.

Lost 1 minute on 12, too high and caught Tam here which pulled me of line. Nailed 12 but should have gone low, would have been much smoother and less climb but still a good split on the long leg slowing I navigated well. Good here until 19, where I had a train of about 5 on my back and often when I slowed to precise navigate they did too, so ignored them and did my own thing. Everyone was too low though on 19 +45/60. Not far out now so picked it up where it allowed until the finish.

Good run but annoyed at losing 2 minutes on 3 one of the simplest controls on the course and taking the higher RG when lower would have been much quicker especially allowing quick running and easy navigation.

Felt strong throughout and not to knackered after like many pervious longs, a sign of dirty miles progression. Time to build on this and get quick now spring/summer season is here.

JK middle

Started well in the first section with systematic O nailing everything, fine on 6 and caught Jobba. Recognised 8 as a key tricky control so slowed down and made a good plan but still ended up to low losing +90 seconds.

Other time loses include 12 where I went to straight and climbed to much and got stuck in some bad wind blown trees, +50. 13 was a banana got out of by Joe +40.

Finally on the long leg I went straight to avoid climbing but ended up losing 30 seconds on most and 1 minute on the quickest which I would have done if I went low and knocked it into 5th gear. Frustrating again that a fair bit of the course felt like a obstacle course which a fair amount of crap on the forest floor and deeeep marsh.

JK Sprint

Pretty disappointed with this, but also happy as I was clean throughout and always incontrol. Only mistake was on the way to the spectator where it was dark under the canopy and didn't spot the short route so went the long way +20.

My main disappointment was the conditions which made the race feel like a jog, I finished and could have ran the course again if I wanted to. The slippy surfaces meant that I could never attack the race or run aggressively which sprint O is all about and on the two occasions I attempted this I crashed into walls, so opted to be safe and not cause any damage to myself.

Was only 10 seconds behind Chris after the village, just seemed to slow slightly between 50% and 80% around the course, didn't have that spring in my stride probably from the virus. 4th so if that's a bad run it isn't too bad, but still disappointed. Should have been pushing low 17s.
