Feeling a little better. Staying home from work. Hopefully I will be back to work tomorrow. I didn't get much sleep last night but my appetite is back. Even though my nose is all stuffed up it feels better.
Still sick. Decided to pass so the Mason Neck o-meet. Stayed home. Didn't eat much. Got a little work done on the computer. Watched a movie. Slept a lot. If anything I felt worse today than I did yesterday.

Decided to use an old route to get from Pentagon City to Shirlington and avoid the underpass where the 4MRT crosses under the Mt Vernon Trail because there was 2+ feet of standing water yesterday. Hopefully by Monday the water will have receded and trail will be open again.

Still a little sore from the HVTC but ankles and thighs are considerably less sore now than they were earlier this week.

Tried to take the usual route along the Mt Vernon and 4 Mile Run Trails only to discover that the 4MRT was flooded in places. I ended up backtracking to 18th & Eads.

I took a "safe" route from 18th & Eads to Shirlington, avoiding flooded underpasses on the 4MRT.
