Event: OLOU Orienteering at Jefferson Memorial Forest
 

Jim talked me into running the green course. This turned out to be good since there were no misplaced controls unlike red and brown. Ended up with a nasty blister on the toe next to the big toe.

Fun day in the woods. A normal OLOU advanced course a few advanced controls but most could be found using a lineal feature. Grueling going thru the steep slopes and thorns. One place I had to run in the creek going under logs since the hill sides were so steep.

Map was very out of date. Learned later we have a later version of the map, I don't know why it's not posted in the club map storage place.

First meet for Laurie the meet director, she did not have much help with the meet. Between tax season for me and spring break for many others, not many regulars available.

Sunny day with strong wind helped dry up things a bit. I sent in the first batch of extensions which will be a record year of extensions for me.

Another warm & stormy day

Warm day upper 70's a lot of rain

Evening walk was rained out. A heavy band of thunderstorms parked over Louisville again.

Another day buried in the tax cave.

Frosty AM gave way to a sunny cool day
