Only had a little time to get out due to tax season. Went to Community Park and looked over map and control locations. Big construction project with a new baseball field being added. Parking lot being redone.

I would think the project will be done before our sprint here.

We had 5 inches of rain in our part of Louisville last night. Sidewalks and roads were covered with water this AM receded by this afternoon. Roads were washed out, some mud slides a real mess here. Just to the west of Louisville they had 7 inches of rain last night.

Mental failure on this one. Kept the excitement bridled on 1 + 2, then lost control running aimlessly for 3 which I found since I saw Pat closing in on it. 4 I did not find after making 3 passes. I just skipped 4 & 5, which pulled the plug on the excitement but it allowed me to concentrate and I had no problem with 6 to the end of the course.

It kind of reinforces what I had been seeing, that the mental aspect of Orienteering is my biggest issue right now.
