Green Course - was doing fine on a very technical course up through 7. Lost map contact on the way to 8. Tried to relocate on bike trails along a large creek flowing from North to South. Never could had to retrace back quite a ways to relocate. Learned later from Mike that the bike trails continue off the park property, so I was trying to relocate when I was off the map. #8 was control 52. After relocating I made myself find #8, just to prove to myself I was where I thought I was. Then I went on and did #9, so I would not leave the place with some kind of phobia. I was cramping by then, so I just came on in.
