Walking 37:05 [2] 2.82 km (13:09 / km)
shoes: INOV TERROC 330

Still working on the INOV-8's. It appears a thicker sock works best in this shoe for me.

X country sking 30:00 [3] 2.5 km (12:00 / km)

I though maybe the snow this AM would cover up the ice. I went anyways but not a real good surface just to icy.

Walking 19:00 [1] 1.41 km (13:29 / km)
shoes: New Balance Trail Run

A very cold AM walk

Walking 17:30 [2] 1.41 km (12:25 / km)
shoes: INOV TERROC 330

Wanted to try a different type of shoe. Very good in the snow, it was useless on the ice.

Walking 19:00 [2] 1.41 km (13:29 / km)
shoes: New Balance Trail Run

Another chance to try out the PUMA spiked shoes. Very light shoe, I have decided for me this is probably a sprint shoe. I don't think it's sturdy enough for a longer event. Plus the narrow toe box would kill me over a longer distance. It loves the ice. It would interesting to see how it does in mud.

Walking 19:00 [3] 1.41 km (13:29 / km)
shoes: New Balance Trail Run

I had a chance to try out my new PUMA spiked shoes on the sheet of ice. They have 6 small daggers in the front of each shoe. They worked like a champ on the ice. The only negative I saw was the small toe box. I really need them a little wider. I have their largest shoe a 14.

A big negative, severe flooding at Phil Moore park made the park cancel our event this Saturday. Two cancelled meets now this winter. Bummer!

Walking 19:00 [2] 1.41 km (13:29 / km)

Quick inch of snow, now in the midst of a nasty ice storm.

X country sking 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)

The 4"of snow last night gave me another day on the skis. I was absolutely soaked with sweat when I got off the skis.

Orienteering 38:00 [3] 2.82 km (13:29 / km)

The snow started again about 3:30. We are under a winter storm warning. I was really surprised that the snow starting sticking on the ground and sidewalks immediately. After 60 degrees yesterday, I thought maybe it would melt a little first. The ground must still be frozen under the top layer?
