Orienteering race 52:18 intensity: (31 @1) + (3:51 @2) + (24:05 @3) + (19:51 @4) + (4:00 @5) 7.41 km (7:03 / km) +234m 6:06 / km

Had a couple bobbles near then end but was otherwise Ok with the race.
First bobble was due to mismatch between what I expected vegetation to look like + what it actually looked like - happy with how i recovered. 2nd bobble involved trying to stick closer to the line by cutting through green and having the green be far slower than expected. Unfortunately, I let the annoyance at thrashing through green throw me off, leading to a mistake - I headed out of the control still making a plan and then changed the plan mid route.

I'm happy I recognized when I was entering the technical controls at the end + reminded myself to take the time I needed. The takeaway is that I need to remind myself of this while approaching EACH control at the end.
