Running 37:24 [4] 7.66 km (4:53 / km) +100m 4:35 / km
shoes: Innovate Terraclaws

Stoke Park run, glorious weather, a fair few people enjoying their spring sunday, & social distancing looked fine to me.

Some twinges & aches, & I now need a proper rest day. Staying at Liz's & cat sitting as she's in Cardiff for her mother's funeral. Only the closest family going; all other guests cancelled.

A life of 95 years, and there's no one at the funeral except your children, their spouses & their children. Is it any wonder Liz is so sad. Tonight she will have to eat her meal in her hotel room alone due to only room service. Hardly appropriate.

2020 is just off the scale. And its getting worse.

Walking 3:00:00 [1] 11.2 km (16:04 / km) +264m 14:23 / km

Ebbor Gorge walk with Lynne. Lovely day & a few people out. Looked into a cavern too -caving holds no appeal to me.

Forgot garmin so Mapometer'd it. Nice day.

Running 1:00:01 [4] 12.26 km (4:54 / km) +130m 4:39 / km
shoes: Brooks Ravenna 10

Tempo hour's run: went out with vague plan to do 12km at whatever pace felt right & seemed to go well . Also two segment efforts, one a hill. Avoided some mud ..... but also didn't avoid some mud!

Stopped at one hour & jogged back the final 1km.

Fit; just in time for BOC & the JK :-( .... took me 6 weeks, seem to be the norm for me. How lucky.

Someone i know (a climber) has full CV-19 symptoms. She lives a street away from Liz in Southville. It's here. Getting worried now.

Nice & knackered from yesterday's self-bashing.

Full day in flat in isolation.

So glad we did POM less than a month ago, & it was so good.

Cycling 33:33 [3] 9.0 km (3:44 / km) +60m 3:36 / km

Cycle to town & back. Get some stuff before the world ends (eg guitar strings etc - NOT panic buying food!)

Stange times. Masks on a lot of people. Wonder what the stats in Bristol are right now?

No idea when I'll be back in town, if Spain, France & Switzerland are anything to go by now (& we're only a week or two behind them....)

Feel really sad.
